ROAN STILLION AND JAKE STEWART STRENGTHEN FREDS

The Freds are excited to confirm new signings Roan Stillion and Jake Stewart!

Roan Stillion was an integral part of a very successful Stanford squad that included team mates, Jonny Hall, Jacob Haines, George Santacana-Melvin, Harry Buckland and Joe George a few years ago.

Roan bossed the Stanford rearguard in their league winning season, and looked every inch the model defender in the Freds pre-season tournament at Alfredian Park last week. The green and white hoops played five games against A and B league opposition without conceding a goal.

Roan also trained at the Southampton Development Centre in Abingdon.

Jake Stewart transfers from Didcot Casuals in the A league.

Jake is a busy midfielder with an impressive work ethic, great touch on the ball, and strikes a fine shot from distance too. You can never have enough goalscoring midfielders, and Jake definitely carries a threat.

In training, and pre-season tournament, Jake has looked the part.

Wantage Town are thrilled to have both represent the club this season.
